So close yet so far away from finishing up with the construction of our home. Hello, my name is Mirtis Wise. My husband Mark and I began this journey of constructing a small home, beginning with the small barn-style shed we already had back in the summer of 2024. Unfortunately, on Oct 11, 2024, Mark had a heart attack, and construction of our home was postponed. Mark had several setbacks with complications that followed the heart attack. Mark is on the mend, and construction was resumed. With Mark's hospital stay, complications, and surgery (related to the complications), the medical bills have devoured the revenue needed to complete the final stages of construction on our home. We are trying to raise funds for the completion of our home. We are so close to finally being able to live in a safe, clean home.
