Support Dad and Papa fighting for his life in the ICU:

Over a week ago, Mark was rushed to the hospital by ambulance with serious confusion and inability to move on his own. It was quickly determined that he had a very serious case of MRSA sepsis in his blood from his infusion port. The infection is sitting in his cervical bone under his brain presenting as osteomyelitis. The infection had caused a case of meningitis but also pushed itself into the ventricles of his brain. He currently has a blood clot in his sinus cavity and another in his right jugular vein. Most recent scans showed appendicitis as well as a tumor in his left lung. Mark is currently at Bringham and Woman’s while his wife and three daughters reside in NH and have been traveling daily to be with Mark. Mark has 5 grandchildren whom love him dearly. It is in unknown at the time how long he will remain in the ICU and his case being very rare will be put into the hospitals medical journal. Once he is out of the hospital he will be sent to rehabilitation to learn how to walk and see correctly, as he currently is having issues with both functions due to the inflammation in his brain.
