Help Mark and his family through his rehab

Hi Everyone,

 

Our soccer team is trying to raise money to help one of our brothers named Mark Andrade who recently has had some medical issues that have stopped him from working and being able to support his family and care for his kids. He is married to his wife Sonita and has 2 beautiful children named Grayson and Gianna. In 2013 Mark suffered a brain aneurysm which affected the left side of his body. He regained 100% function back within a few days, but it had to be treated, so in 2015 he did radiation treatment. The first treatment didn't work and he had to go through radiation treatment again in 2021.

 

On March 26th he went into work and all of a sudden he couldn't use his left hand anymore and then within 24 hours the whole left side of his body went weak and lost complete function of his left arm. Apparently the radiation treatment has damaged the area of his brain where the aneurysm was and he was diagnosed with radiation necrosis.

 

He has worked in construction his whole adult life and that's what he was good at, he worked hard to provide for his family. Mark feels his dreams and aspirations have been ripped away from him, he can't lift up his own kids, he can't play soccer with his friends, he can't make dinner for his family, and can barely dress himself. His wife Sonita is currently on maternity leave which is supposed to be over in August but with Mark going through this she has to look for a work from home job to be able to be there for Mark and the kids.

 

Money is very tight in their household right now and they are having a tough time financially, we know times are tough for everyone but if we can help out in anyway to keep them on their feet until Mark gets through his treatments and rehab that would be life changing for him and his family. Mark will most likely not be working for a while and there is a potential that he could never heal 100% but he will always do what he can to provide for his family. I know the soccer team has his back and hopefully we can reach out to enough people to make a difference for them!
