Mark is fighting for his life, and I am reaching out for help to give him a chance at more time. Mark served in the US Army for 7.5 years, showing courage and dedication to his country. Four years ago, he was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma, and through strength and perseverance, he survived. But just a month ago, Mark received another devastating diagnosis—a second cancer, Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), caused by the first. This type of cancer isn't curable, and the only hope is a clinical trial in San Diego.

The VA does not cover travel, hotel, or food for this trial, only reimburses after the fact, and we simply do not have the money to cover these costs upfront. The funds raised here will go directly toward airfare, hotel, food, and incidentals so Mark can access this potentially life-extending treatment.
