My name is Marjorie, I hope you read my story. I have always been the main provider of our household with elderly parents. I’m the only one working because my dad is a Blind person and my mom is the main caregiver.
I am knocking on everyone’s kind and generous hearts since I had to be on a medical leave after thanksgiving last year. I was hospitalized from Dec. 3 to Dec. 16 2025. Recently, lupus attacked my solitary kidney, forcing me to undergo dialysis and other treatments. This illness has completely changed my life. I can no longer work, and every day is a struggle—not just for me, but for my parents who depend on me for support and care.
Last January 8, I had to be brought to the ER due to Generalized Edema and mainly HYPOXIA because of my weak immune system I caught Pneumonia that has been going around. It is my 22nd day now.
The financial strain has become overwhelming. I have so many bills to pay each month, and the costs of my medical treatments keep adding up. On top of that, I worry constantly about how my parents will manage if I can’t be there for them. They are elderly and rely on me for everything, and it breaks my heart to think of them struggling because of my illness.
I am reaching out for help because I don’t want my parents to carry this burden. I know I cannot repay the kindness of those who support us, and I don’t even know what the future holds for my health. But your support would mean the world to me and my family. Any help you can give will go directly toward our daily needs, medical expenses, and making sure my parents are cared for. Thank you for reading my story and for any support you can offer.
The pictures will show how I looked originally, my elderly parents, and my condition at the moment.
Again, with deepest gratitude.
- Marjorie
