Help Support Maritza Vargas During Her Battle With Lupus

Maritza Vargas has dedicated her life to caring for others. As a Certified Nursing Assistant with years of experience in healthcare, she has touched the lives of countless residents, families, and coworkers with her sincerity, compassion, and unwavering kindness.

Today, Maritza needs our help.

Maritza was diagnosed with Lupus at just 15 years old, and throughout her life, she has faced many serious health challenges — including kidney and liver failure. Despite these struggles, she has always remained positive and dedicated to her work and the people she cares for.

Recently, Maritza’s health took a difficult turn. Since the end of September, she has been in and out of the hospital and is currently sedated in the ICU with kidney failure once again. She is undergoing temporary dialysis treatment and taking lupus medications, while also managing heart complications that are being controlled through medication.

This has been an incredibly challenging time for Maritza and her loved ones. As she continues to fight and recover, we want to come together as a community to help ease some of the financial burden she faces — from medical bills to medications and basic living expenses while she’s unable to work.

Maritza has always been there for others in their times of need. Now it’s our turn to be there for her.
