Our dear friend and member of our community, Marissa Gonzales,

is facing the most heartbreaking chapter of her life. She has been diagnosed with acute liver failure due to a blood clotting issue, and after months of pain, treatment, and difficult choices, her doctors have confirmed that she is no longer a candidate for a liver transplant.

Marissa has made the courageous and peaceful decision to stop medical intervention and allow nature to take its course. She is now focusing on what matters most — spending precious time with her two beautiful children, ages 11 and 12, and finding comfort surrounded by love.

As you can imagine, this situation has created an overwhelming emotional and financial burden. Marissa has always been the kind of person who gives her whole heart to others — a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a gentle soul who never hesitated to help those in need. Now, she and her children need our help.
