Help Marissa Rebuild After Losing Her Home to a Hurricane
Donation protected

Marissa Donoho, a dedicated first-grade teacher in Manatee County, Florida, has been a proud resident of Siesta Key for nearly a decade. However, her life was recently turned upside down when a devastating hurricane swept through the area, leaving her home severely damaged and most of her belongings destroyed.
The storm brought a 3-foot surge of water into her house, saturating everything inside. When Marissa returned home to assess the damage, she found that most of her furniture and personal items were beyond salvaging. In addition to the physical loss, she is now grappling with the emotional toll of losing her home.
Marissa has always been a source of support for her students and her community, but now she finds herself in need of help. Currently, she is staying with her mother while making trips back to Siesta Key to recover what little she can from the wreckage. This difficult journey has been compounded by an injury she suffered just before the hurricane, making it even harder for her to prepare for the storm or manage the recovery on her own.
Despite the overwhelming challenges, Marissa remains resilient. But the financial and emotional toll has been immense, and she is now seeking support from those willing to help her rebuild her life. Any donations, shares of this campaign, or advice would be deeply appreciated as she navigates this difficult time. The funds will be used to replace damages in her home.
Your generosity will make a significant difference in helping Marissa restore her sense of stability and focus on what she loves most—teaching and supporting her students.
Thank you for keeping Marissa in your thoughts and for offering any support you can.
