Marissa is our beloved friend and colleague who has just suffered an unexpected death of her beloved mother.
Marissa lives in Los Angeles and helps support her family in the Philippines which includes her siblings, children and her mother. Marissa has been working on paperwork to bring her mother over to LA to live with her. Her mother, unfortunately suffered a fall and had to undergo hip surgery, while Marissa was overseas she was informed that her mother had slipped into a coma and later suffered a stroke, resulting in her untimely passing. We are all saddened by this as Marissa is now stuck with the expenses and hospital bill. She must now fly her and her family out to the Philippines in a matter of days, and the cost of flights are thousands of dollars- this is not including the large hospital bill of $25,000 that must be paid in order to release her mother from the hospital to the family so she may get the proper burial she deserves.
