Help Marissa Garcia Heal After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
As many of you may know, our 20-year-old daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, Marissa Garcia, was in a bad car accident on April 16, 2025, on Highway 17. She was riding with friends, and unfortunately, two of them passed away. A few were injured badly, and she is one with extensive injuries and still in the ICU in critical condition. It's still estimated to be another 2-3 weeks in the ICU as of now.
She has had a few surgeries now, had a trach placed to help her breathe easier with punctured lungs and having the flu. Multiple broken ribs, and a TBI that are of major concern at the moment. That's just a bit of her injuries.
We are asking for the community's help to be able to have a support person with her 24/7 while in the ICU. Between travel, missing work, and having to be at work, we are financially struggling. Marissa really needs the love and support of her family right now to help aid her recovery.
She has a long road to recovery; as of now, they project at least 6 months in a rehab center to rehabilitate with 24-hour care.
We thank you and are eternally blessed for each and every one of you that are able to help us in this unexpectedly difficult time.
Fundraiser launched by her Dad Jorge Garcia & Uncle Justin Henderson who are trying their best to take care of her and her expenses during this unexpected tragedy.
