Please Help Marissa! Car Accident Now Covid-19:(

UPDATE 11/9/21:  Marissa saw the eye specialist for her second visit today.  Her eye is still swollen and blood has accumulated behind her eye.  She will have another visit on December 8 to determine next steps.  In the meantime, she will rest and continue to heal.  Her car has been totaled by the insurance company.  Bad news - the settlement does not cover the outstanding loan.  We'll need to be creative with financing when she gets a different car to replace her Nissan.  We are grateful for any support you are willing to provide.   Thank you!!!


Hello, I’m setting up this fundraiser to help my daughter Marissa. She’s been through so much this year.   She had diverticulitis at the  beginning of this year and was in the hospital every month from January until having surgery in May to address the problem.   She was on the mend and doing well, however, on October 23, was in a serious car accident, suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI), a concussion and a fractured eye socket, which will need surgery to repair. Thankfully, she is alive!  She is unable to work while recovering and any help would make a great difference! She's hoping to be back on her feet by the end of this year.
