Days before Christmas my brother Joaquin was admitted to the hospital with double pneumonia, anyone who knows him knows that man can’t sit still to save his life. And that’s exactly what led to two strokes back to back. He was once again admitted to the hospital on Christmas Eve where everything took a turn for the worse. He began fighting for his life and after 2 1/2 weeks of being in a medical coma, Joaquin was finally able to come home Sunday night with the help of hospice. He was able to spend his final moments where he belonged, surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of home.

I am starting this fundraiser to help relieve some financial burden for my sister-in-law Marissa and their children. Every dollar will help make sure Joaquin is laid to rest with our mama.
