Hi! My name is Katy & I am fundraising for my amazing friend, Marisha, to be able to purchase a new companion to aid in health & emotional support.

Life has not been easy for Marisha. Especially these last few years due to her health issues. She is a multiple-time cancer survivor who still has to fight to survive everyday due to the aftermath of cancer & treatments. She has had to adjust everything in her life to figure out how to live with these changes & adapt. One big help is her current companion animal, Oreo the tiny toy poodle. While he offers comfort when it's time for snuggles, he also helps keep her moving & active on walks in the sunshine. Oreo is getting older & after talking with the veterinarian we know he will not be here forever. To help ease the transition when the time comes, we would like to be proactive & make sure Marisha has another companion to he there for comfort. Because of her health conditions a hypoallergenic dog is a MUST & we have found one locally! But now we need help with the adoption fee, 1st vet visit, flea/tick/hw meds, supplies, etc to help get them started.

Marisha is the kind of person everyone wants to be around or be like. She is quiet, but has a wonderful sense of humor & laugh that you get to see as she warms up . Her smile lights up the room! She is smart, witty, fun, beautiful, humble, & thoughtful. She deserves everything good & beautiful this world has to offer. Please help us provide her with a little of the comfort, love, & support she needs most.
