My name is Marisela, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family and I have faced. Recently, my car broke down, which has made getting to work a daily challenge. I’ve been relying on the bus and ferry, which takes much longer and adds extra stress to my already full days. On top of that, my partner was recently laid off, and we’ve fallen behind on our bills as we try to keep up with basic needs.

As if that wasn’t enough, I’m also trying to come up with the finances needed for a custody battle for my son.
