Hello! I’m Zelaiah, aka Marisa Mejia. I’m a local recording artist and attend UIW as a Music Industry major. I work a server job and play gigs locally.

On the late evening of April 29, after working a shift at my server job, I came back to my car’s rear passenger window smashed in and several of my personal belongings, including my laptop, college music books/notes, student ID, flash drives, and other essentials I rely on for school, stolen. This means some of my first production projects from when I was as young as 14 are gone forever. I also had an endoscopy performed the following morning due to some ongoing health issues.

I am facing an emotional & financial hardship as I have to repair the damages done to my car, acquire a new laptop for college, and need to pay for my procedure. Additionally, one of the places I perform at has not compensated me for my performances ($1k+), although resolution to this issue has been pending since February, and I am still waiting.

I kindly ask that if you’d like to be generous, that you contribute to my fund in support of purchasing a new window for my car, a new laptop to create more musical projects & for college work, and overall some help for some of my personal health issues. I am always open for bookings and would be willing to return the favor by playing at your event.
