Help Marisa Belitz Through Cancer and Pregnancy

Hello, my name is Andrew, and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Marisa Belitz, who has recently received heartbreaking news that her and her family were not expecting. She had been dealing with sporadic pain on her left side in her pregnancy and requested an ultrasound of that specific area at her 32 week ultrasound. The scan looked concerning which led to a CT scan and a biopsy after that. The preliminary biopsy is showing a malignant sarcoma of that area. We are working with UNMC and Methodist moving forward with treatment and the best delivery option for the baby.

Marisa is an incredibly strong and loving person who has always put others first. Whether as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, or friend, she’s been the one to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, and endless love to everyone around her. Her children and husband mean the world to her and this news has blindsided them all. Now, as she faces this battle, it’s our turn to offer her the same unwavering support.

The costs associated with treatment are significant, including medical bills, medications, transportation to and from appointments, and the potential need for specialized care. On top of that, the emotional toll of dealing with cancer is immeasurable. We are asking for donations to help alleviate some of the financial stress so that Marisa can focus on her recovery and healing without the weight of mounting medical costs.
