Mario Patiño’s Memorial and Funeral Fund

Many hearts were shattered on July 28th when our beloved father, brother, uncle and a multitude of other titles passed away. Mario was just shy of turning 48. He would have said he was actually 28! He was the world to us. He worked hard to support his family and wanted the best for all his children. He would have done anything for a friend if he could. 
The weight of responsibility he had on his shoulders was immense but he never showed an ounce of concern or distress. On memorial weekend our father was diagnosed with Covid 19 and fell ill with a vicious case of Covid pneumonia. He fought so hard to see his family. He woke up from a long intubation and was able to smile and laugh with his family for a short time. He was even able to see his new born son before his last moments. We are trying to take comfort that he is no longer suffering and can finally rest. 

Unfortunately, this tragedy is accompanied by  financial burden, from medical bills, to funeral expenses, to time off from work devoted to grief and healing.


He was such a positive light in our lives, that the day he left we felt like the sun wouldn’t rise again. But we have to remember he would want us to celebrate what life has to offer and to go out and dance. 

All the funds will be used for funeral costs and other expenses that comes with the burial. We would also like to give our father a beautiful headstone to show a fragment of what an amazing man he was. Anything helps. Thank you in advance.
