Hi everyone,

My name is Marión, and together with my husband, Marcelo, we’re the proud parents of our beloved Great Dane, Kida. She’s been part of our family since she was just three months old, and over the past five years, she’s grown into the funniest, smartest, and bravest companion we could ask for.

Today, she suffered a traumatic accident. Her tail got caught in a door, resulting in a severe injury, one so serious as part of her tail was torn off. Seeing her in pain, with her bone exposed and bleeding uncontrollably, was absolutely heartbreaking.

We rushed her to the nearest animal hospital, and after hours of anxious waiting, she underwent surgery, including bloodwork and sedation. Thankfully, the vets assured us she’ll recover, but the cost of her emergency treatment has left us in a difficult position. Now we've learned her liver values are dangerously high, requiring an urgent biopsy—another costly procedure we weren't prepared for.

Right now, I’m unable to work, and Marcelo recently started a new job that pays significantly less than his previous one. We’re doing everything we can to support Kida’s recovery, but the financial strain is overwhelming. We know times are tough for everyone, which is why we’re so grateful for any help—no matter how small—you might be able to offer.
