On May 5th, our lives changed in an instant.

My husband, Mario Gutierrez, was in a devastating motorcycle accident and is now in the Trauma ICU with life-threatening injuries. He has already undergone emergency care and faces a long road of surgeries and recovery ahead.

Mario is a loving husband and a hardworking man who has always been there for others—now he needs us.

Maria is a Tot Time teacher at Advent Early Childhood School and their daughter Samantha, is an eighth grader at Advent Elementary/Middle School. Their older daughter, Vanessa, was the music teacher at Advent ECS.
