Hello family, friends, and all angel donors. We need your help for my nephew, Mario Gomez. Mario is currently struggling with a serious leg injury. Two months ago, in Tijuana, Mexico, he was struck by a hit-and-run taxi driver, resulting in significant damage to his leg. My nephew is at risk of having his leg amputated unless we can help him receive this urgent surgery.
After the accident, Mario was taken to the general hospital. Unfortunately, trauma centers at general hospitals in Mexico are nearly nonexistent. The necessary and required services require payment up front to perform important, life-saving surgery; otherwise, the patient will not receive the necessary care. During his time at the hospital, he has received minimal care, such as a leg bandage, without any treatment for his broken leg. He has caught two leg infections, his toes are turning black, and his leg is standing at an L-angle, which has made this situation life-threatening.
Mario’s family has been affected by this situation. He is bedridden and has been unable to provide for himself financially. He is their only source of financial support. He is a few weeks from having his leg amputated if he does not receive the treatment he needs.
Mario is faced with the possibility of losing his leg if not treated with the necessary surgery. At this moment, surgery is not financially possible for him, which is why we are seeking your support. Any help you can offer toward his surgery would be deeply appreciated. Your support will go a long way toward ensuring this family man can continue to support his family.
Thank you.
