This is Mario. He's sixteen and starting to show his age. Lately, he's been sick, but I don't have the funds for even a check-up right now. He's lost a lot of weight over the past two years. Now he has issues keeping food down. I fear his time is drawing near.

I've started this GoFundMe to get him a basic check-up, some car rides, plus some additional basic tests. This will allow me to get a referral to the veterinary hospital. That's the only place I can give him my last gift, which would be euthanasia. That's how the veterinary business works these days in NYC.

I also hope to raise enough for his cremation with his ashes returned to me.

I would keep his ashes with those of his brothers and sister.

Please understand I want to do whatever is feasible to prolong his life, but I have to be clear-eyed about his chances. Your help with giving him aid or a gentle send-off would mean a great deal to me.
