Hello! My name is Carrie and I am starting this go fund me for my parents, Mario and Lisa Diaz. My dad, Mario, suffered a stroke on Wednesday, May 2nd. Thankfully my mom went into action and called 911. He had a blood clot that caused a stroke and had to have emergency surgery. He is now in the ICU in Oklahoma City. My mother, Lisa, is his wife of 40 years. She is traveling back and forth an hour each way to be with him while he recovers. The doctors stated there is a long road ahead and we don’t know what all that will entail.

My father almost lost his life to Covid in 2022, leaving him on oxygen and unable to work anymore. He was finally able to enjoy life without an oxygen tank and with some normalcy. Any donation would help with fuel, food, and any expenses we may incur when it comes time to bring him home.
