Help Mario and Johanna not to lose their house.

Hello Friends and Family, I come here with a humble heart. My family and I have run into some financial trouble due to multiple medical issues and loss of a job. Some of you may know that Mario had open-heart surgery last year and has done really well, although it has taken longer than expected for him to get the all-clear to go back to work. This past month we officially got the all-clear. This was a blessing in itself. The last year and a half, I have been the primary income, up until July. First, I was hospitalized with what was thought to be necrotizing fasciitis on my lower leg, which thankfully it was not. However, I did have a large open wound and some nasty infection. I was sent home on IV infusion for a month and wound care. I continued to work because of course, there is no rest for the weary. Then the other shoe dropped, I lost my job at the end of July. So needless to say, we were floored. We took it the best we could. Although I saw it as a blessing because I have been wanting to change jobs. I had been making up excuses as to why I wasn't able to, mainly I "had" a job. We tried to make the best of it, but with only one income we are like most and had very little savings. I started looking for new employment as soon as I got over the shock of it all. I am trying to get back onto the path of doing what I have dreamed of doing since I was a little girl, which is some type of medical career. The time is now if I want to get it, so I am looking for caregiving jobs so that I can get my foot in the door and move up from there. With all of the stress going on, it has significantly slowed my healing progress. I am now looking towards skin grafts to cover my wound because otherwise, I could be healing with an open wound for over a year. Like I said, Mario just got cleared to go back to work, with one caveat: he has two doctor visits a week for the next two months. He is attempting to go back to serving, which he is so good at, and gives us the flexibility of schedule, but at the same time, he is trying to find more stable (sustainable) income by looking for other areas. His heart will always be in the hospitality field, but his pocketbook needs a weekly paycheck. I am still looking. I have put out plenty of resumes, but because I don't drive, that seems to be my hurdle. Since agencies mainly want people that can take clients to appointments and shopping. Most of the other jobs I could get right away are all retail, and with my previous job being retail, it has done a number on me physically. I am not able to do 6-8 hours a day on my feet (knee) anymore. That was becoming very clear to me. So this is where we come to the point we are at. We have exhausted all of our other resources, savings, selling off collectibles, slashing budget, etc. We have also gone to social agencies, but because we both don't have jobs, they cannot help at the moment. That doesn't stop rent from piling up, utilities, and everything else. Not to mention gas to get to doctors' appointments for both of us, and to interviews and jobs when we get them. Plus, we are riding on bald tires and one donut. Thankfully, our car runs very well; however, in mid-August, we did have to replace the starter. As you know, we do have three teenagers, and they have been understanding, but they need what they need. Our oldest is looking for a job as well and wants to help out. We are humbly asking for your assistance to help relieve some of this stress. We would be ever so grateful if you are unable to donate, to at least share this with others.
