My uncle is a caring, loving man who has always put others before himself. He served our country in the Marines during Desert Storm, showing bravery and dedication. After his military service, he became a truck driver, working both cross-country and locally, always providing for his family and helping those around him. Twelve years ago, he married a wonderful woman from the Philippines, and this Christmas, he traveled there to visit her and her family, hoping to spend the holidays together.


Tragically, during his visit, my uncle fell seriously ill and was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). He is now in the ICU in the Philippines, on a ventilator and fighting for his life. The medical bills, medication, and supplies he needs are overwhelming, and the costs continue to rise each day. We are also hoping to raise enough to help bring him home to the USA, where he can continue his recovery and be closer to family and friends who love him dearly.
