Help Marina in Oleg's Last Days

Hi My name is Svetlana and I'm fundraising for my mom as she navigates the numerous, indescribable costs of the impending loss of her husband and my father, Oleg Litvinchuk. Over the last two years, their resources had gone entirely to making my father as comfortable as possible at home, and now as his last days near she hopes for some support in order to help cover final expenses and to move onto the next chapter of her life.

Here is her message:

"On May 28, 2022, Oleg was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. He has done two 4-month courses of chemo and one 2-month course of radiation. Surgery was done in October 2022, but metastases were already in the lungs and liver. Unfortunately, the treatment and surgery did not help. Oleg was doomed. In January 2023 Oleg stopped walking. He spent 16 months in bed, lying on his back, unable to turn sideways. The painkillers didn't work. Two weeks ago, the cancer began to progress sharply and entered the brain and bones. He is at home now, but dying. All this time, he didn't want to tell anyone about his illness. At his request, I also remained silent. But now that he is dying before my eyes, I turn to you, his friends, for financial support. Please help if you can. With respect and gratitude, Marina Litvinchuk"

This is an incredibly difficult time in our family and we thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and any support you may offer my mom. The love between them endured for 44 years and he was so fortunate to receive such care and tenderness. My mother is a remarkable woman and deserves every possible kindness.
