My name is Marina Gopak. My daughter and I have been released from detention in South Luisiana due to my breast cancer. My husband is still in detention.I had the surgery on July 28th, following by chemotherapy. I would appreciate any help I can get. My baby is 2.5 years old.

When we were all in detention together, they placed my child with a foster family, and I was only able to see her on the phone once a week for 30 minutes. I did not see her physically for 11 months while being in jail. My baby and I are together now, but my husband is still in detention. We only have strangers who became our friends helping us. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
