On May 13th, Marin was in a motorcycle accident after hitting loose gravel while exiting the freeway. He lost control of the bike and suffered multiple injuries, including a broken tibia and fibula in his leg, a fractured humerus in his arm, and six broken ribs.
He spent two weeks in the hospital and underwent two surgeries on his leg. The first was to place an external fixator, and then a second, more complex surgery involved installing an Ilizarov apparatus—a circular metal frame that will need to stay on for the next 4 to 6 months as his bones heal.
The recovery process will be long, painful, and will require regular follow-up visits, physical therapy, and months off his feet. He won’t be able to return to work for some time, and we’re facing a growing number of medical bills along with our usual household expenses.
We’re asking for help on these costs and ease the financial pressure while he focuses on healing. Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a few kind words—means a lot to us right now.
We’re incredibly grateful he’s still with us and on the road to recovery, and we truly appreciate any support you’re able to offer.
Thank you,
The Colo’s
