Dear friends, family, and community,
On June 29, 2026, the devastating Aspen Acres Fire swept through the Beulah Valley, causing unimaginable loss. Among those heavily impacted is our dear friend, neighbor, and beloved teacher, Marilyn Wren, and her family. In a matter of hours, they tragically lost the home they have loved, cared for, and resided in for 36 years.
For nearly four decades, Marilyn has been the beating heart of our community. She has given so much of her life to others, especially through her dedicated service to our local Catholic school. Marilyn has a heart of gold, always putting her family, friends, students, and parish first. She was a deeply loved teacher to my son, and she is set to be the teacher for my daughter. Generations of local children have been blessed by her kindness, patience, and guidance.
Now, it is our turn to give back to a woman who has given everything to us. The road to recovery and rebuilding after losing a lifelong home is incredibly long and painful. This fundraiser is being set up to provide immediate emergency relief for Marilyn and her family. The funds raised will go directly toward helping them secure temporary housing, replace essential daily necessities (clothing, food, medication), and begin the daunting process of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Any amount, no matter how small, makes a profound difference in helping them navigate this tragedy.
Share: Please share this link with your friends, family, church groups, school alumni, and social networks to spread the word.
Pray: Please keep Marilyn, her family, and all the displaced residents of Beulah and Rye in your prayers during this trying time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your extraordinary generosity, love, and community support. Let's lift up our beloved friend in her hour of greatest need.
