She made patterns for Marvel for over 10 years, worked on costumes in the film industry for over 45 years, and has now lost her home, her studio, and all her tools to the unrelenting LA fires.

She really is a wonderful person. She maintained a complex and expensive union workroom in LA largely to make sure new talent had more than two recourses toward getting their union hours. Thoughtful, inspirational, and genius hardly begins to cover her character.
