Recently, Marilyn Labelle made one of the hardest decisions a wife can make — placing her husband, David Labelle, into long-term care. While this was necessary to ensure their health, safety and well-being, it has brought a financial strain that now threatens Marilyn’s ability to keep their home.

Between the emotional weight of this transition and the financial costs of care, bills have quickly piled up.
