Help Marilyn Heal: Easing the Financial Burden

A Heartfelt Request for Support

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

I am reaching out to you - seeking your support for our dear friend Marilyn, who is currently facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. Marilyn She was admitted to the hospital after experiencing severe breathing difficulties and chest pain. She was found to have double pneumonia and a fib. Her serious condition required her to be intubated and transferred to St Anthony hospital in Gig Harbor. Her condition deteriorated further and was transferred urgently to Virginia Mason to receive ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) which provides oxygen to the body while the heart and lungs rest and heal . She has undergone additional procedures while in Virginia Mason: coiling of blood vessels for bleeding into her chest cavity and then later chest tube to drain the blood which was accumulating in her pleural space, compressing the lung and preventing it from expanding fully.

The situation remains critical, and her prognosis is still uncertain.

As you can imagine, the emotional toll is already immense, and the added burden of medical bills is taking a toll on their loved ones as well. If you are able to contribute in any way, whether through a donation, sharing this message, or simply offering your prayers, it would mean the world to us.
