Hello, I am raising funds for my sister Marilou who lives in the Philippines. Marilou was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia after complaining of bruises, headaches and lower back pain. She is on a breathing machine at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) located in Quezon City since July 24th.

Every day Marilou must undergo chemotherapy, blood transfusions, in combination with many medications. The cost of my sister’s treatment to maintain and improve her condition continues to rise. Without sufficient funds, her treatments have stopped!

I want to help my sister for as long as I can but I feel helpless being so far away from her and my family right now. I can’t imagine this happening at a worst time.

Marilou lost her husband of 15 years on April 6, 2021 (of this year) due to complications with Pneumonia. Leaving her to raise their 3 beautiful children: Carl age 14, Charles age 6 and Cassandra age 4 without him.

I keep thinking of my nieces and nephews and how hard it must be for them right now without a father and now their mother in the hospital fighting Leukemia. That’s why I made this GoFundMe to help spread the news to our friends and family across the globe.

With your help (god-willing) you can help me and my family so that our sister can continue to fight for her life, for her kids future. She wants to keep going. She wants to see another day with all of us together.
