My name is Marika (or LadyVengeance for those that know me online). I am in need of any sort of help i can get. I was diagnosed in October 2017 with ulcerative colitis, and since then I,ve been dealing with a plethora of complications and side effect.

Now the one that has wrought the most damage overall is the definitely the dental/oral health complications. Even with a very in depth oral hygiene routine (which takes 15+ minutes - three times a day), the complications just keep on piling. Tooth decay, breakage, infections have only become more frequent, and will continue to be on the rise as long as we don't proceed with a more permanent solution.

The solution is to have all teeth removed and replaced with permanent dentures fixed on 4 or 5 implants.

While the use of removable dentures is something that is used a lot when people lose their teeth due to aging, the replacement of the full functional dentition for a 32 year old adult requires the use of implants to prevent gum and bone loss, which would otherwise result in even more complications later.

While i would want to believe that i can cover such costs by myself, the truth is : I can't. With the repeated and prolonged medical leave I had to take from work, my income has been limited to barely above my living expenses.

And waiting much longer is only a risk for further complications, mostly primarily severe infections, which will only compromise my hopes of finally being able to have the upper hand on my health for the first time in years.

So yes, any help will make a huge difference. If you can't afford to help me directly, please share with people that would maybe be able to!
