HELP MARIJA ATTEND UWC-USA

Hello friends, my name is Marija. I am a Macedonian high school student and I have received a scholarship to complete my high school education at United World College (UWC-USA), where I will study for the next 2 years. Getting into a UWC college was a dream come true for me and I cannot wait to make new friends and learn new things at my new school. Nevertheless, the school covers 90% of my scholarship and my family has to pay the remaining $4500. Moreover, this does not cover health insurance, which is $1500, flights, ad few additional costs.

Macedonia, the country I am from, is a small European country where the salaries are significantly smaller than those in other countries. Therefore, my family is facing the challenge of paying for my scholarship and the extra fees. For this reason, any donation is welcome and appreciated – one dollar donated = I am one step closer to fulfill my aim.

Your donations will directly help me to realize my ambition of learning in an environment where everyone is as passionate about their goals as I am. I have always been an ambitious child that loves to try new things. I am open to any challenge and would be happy to solve problems, help others and invent new creations. I’ve loved art and math since I was very young; I am a proud EGMO (European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad) gold medalist and an IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) participant, and I hope to advance further in these subjects at UWC-USA.
