Dear friends and kind-hearted people, it is very difficult for me to write this, but I have found myself in a situation where I simply cannot cope without help. In August 2025, I underwent a complex leg surgery after a serious injury — I had 5 fractures. A metal plate and screws were installed in my leg. After the operation, I spent 4 months almost completely bedridden. It was a time of pain, helplessness, and a long recovery. The rehabilitation has been extremely difficult and is still not over.
Unfortunately, my struggles did not end there. Now I urgently need a second surgery. The screws in my leg have broken, and the entire structure needs to be replaced — both the plate and the screws. In addition, doctors say that bone grafting is required at the fracture site. This means I will once again face surgery, pain, prolonged immobility, and an even more difficult rehabilitation. I will not be able to move normally, work, or take care of my family again.
All this time, my husband has been carrying the entire burden of supporting our family. He is the only one working and doing everything he can to provide for us, but the financial strain has become overwhelming. We are raising our young daughter, she is only 6 years old, and she needs a healthy mother by her side. More than anything, I want to get back on my feet, return to a normal life, be there for my child, and support my family. But I cannot do this without your help. I kindly ask — if you have the ability, please support me with any amount. Even the smallest contribution brings me closer to recovery. I would also be deeply grateful if you could share my story — it may help it reach someone who is able to help. Thank you to everyone who responds. With gratitude and hope, Mariia Sefer
