On Monday, April 29th, Sara and Daniel received some of the worst news a parent could receive. While visiting family in Spain to honor Daniel's brother, Mariela came down with a high fever. They took her to the ER and after multiple tests, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at just 6-months old. For now, they will have to remain in Spain while Mariela receives treatment.

This devastating news comes just 2-months after the sudden passing of Daniel's brother.
