Help Marie Repair Water Damage Issues!

Marie has been faced with an issue that we would like to help her with. After a challenging two year period, she was able to buy a home for her and her kids in May of 2020. A little less than a year later, ground water (not covered by insurance) came into the basement soaking Collin and Karis' bedrooms as well as part of the living area down there. Being that all of her liquid assets went into the purchase of her home, she hasn't had the reserves to put her house back together and we would like to help her prevent this from happening again. Marie has done a lot of the demolition and water damage mitigation herself but now she is ready to move forward with the repairs.

We're asking for a total of $13,000 for current water damage repair and prevention of water damage. These are the repairs that need to be done as listed below:

Downspout extenders - $85
Carpet cleaning - $150
Replace Karis' bedframe - $150
Replace Collin's furniture - $200
Carpet pad and restretching - $400
Covering the egress windows - $750
Replace baseboards and installment - $2000
Excavation and installation of drainage system along the north side of the house - $9265
