Get Marie moving

In September 2017, Marie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At the age of 32 it was devastating news. The illness has affected her way of life, restricting her mobility and movement.
She may walk a little funny and can't do all the things she used to like playing basketball or going to the gym but she keeps going. Marie was a vibrant and energetic woman but since this diagnosis, the illness has taken her love of exercise and being outdoors.
She struggles a lot in the heat and that is really hard on her as she would love getting out in the sun, sitting at the beach and going for a swim. The heat gives her fatigue and her legs don't work the way they are meant to.
The thing about MS is that everyone is different. The hardest part about living with MS is the unknown; wondering how she will wake up tomorrow, will some other body part stop working or what will happen to her 5-10 years from now.
Marie has to undergo many tests, MRIs and also infusions each 6 months. These infusions take up to 8 hours, sitting in a chair hooked up to an IV. It's a tiring process but hopefully will keep this disease at bay which researches continue looking for a cure.
In the last two years her family and friends have shown support by participating in charity walks for MS, raising over $10,000 towards research. But now our girl needs our help in a much more real way.
Sadly it is at the stage where Marie could really use some help getting around and we want to ease the burden by gifting her a mobility aid. One small way in which we can help. Please help us spread the word and help get Marie moving!
This year lets help raise money for Marie directly so we can help her get around and then maybe next time we go for our MS walk she can roll along side us.
