Meet Maricruz and Khloe

Maricruz is a dedicated bilingual Social Work Associate with the UCSF Alliance Health Project, and her ESA animal Khloe is our team mascot! Maricruz and Khloe spend their days outreaching vulnerable and struggling monolingual Spanish speaking clients throughout San Francisco and help them find housing, access food supports, get access to quality medical care and most importantly they spread love, dignity, and care to very isolated individuals.

We are so sad to report the sweet Khloe has been diagnosed with cancer and as a result Maricruz is facing an uncertain and financially burdensome future with her care. Khloe is the sweetest and most loving companion animal and spreads joy to all the clients and humans that she meets! These caring and dedicated souls deserve our help!
