Hello, my name is Maricela, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.

On Tuesday, October 7th, my husband was detained by ICE. We are still fighting his case, and we do not know in what direction this may turn. This has been over a fifteen-year-long journey since he was first detained in 2010, navigating cancellations of his deportation. My husband and I have 3 children; it's indisputable financially since he is the backbone of this household. If he gets deported, he will be leaving behind his 3 children of age 20, 19, and 15 years old and his only granddaughter, who was born on October 30th, 2025, and me.

Any money donated will be used for attorney fees, my daughter's medical bill, continuing to pay our mortgage, bill payments, and food.
