In Loving Memory of Maria Isabel Torres – A Warrior, Mother, and Advocate

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved friend Maria Isabel Torres, who went to be with the Lord on July 2nd at 10:22 PM, after fighting bladder cancer with incredible strength for over 3.5 years.

Maria was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a fierce autism advocate. She dedicated her life to her family—especially to her daughter with autism, for whom she fought tirelessly to be seen, supported, and accepted. She also leaves behind her young adult son and her husband, who stood by her side through every moment of her battle.

Maria was a light to everyone who knew her—a warrior full of love, courage, and resilience. Her absence leaves a tremendous void in the lives of those she touched.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help her family cover the funeral expenses as they face this heartbreaking loss. In this moment of grief, any contribution—no matter how small—will go directly toward easing the financial burden of laying Maria to rest with the dignity and love she deserves.
