As the Lead Pastor of the Embassy of Heaven (Christian Church), I am writing on behalf of Marianne, who visited our church today, Sunday, February 23rd. She shared her hardship story with us, leaving us with tears of compassion. Her story includes now being homeless and living in a Motel 6 with her beloved service dog, Katie. This hardship began in 2021 with a bout of radiation treatments for a G.I. inoperable mass. Upon completion of the radiation treatments, Marianne incurred two falls, resulting in breaking a femur and a hip. These injuries led to an inability to perform her job as an RN supervisor. These injuries and subsequent lack of income ultimately resulted in the June 2024 foreclosure of her home of 27 years. She is suffering an extreme financial hardship. I pray that this appeal for compassionate mercy will put her back to a stable position in life.
