Help Mariana Improve Public Health in Malawi
Donation protected
My name is Mariana. I am an international student in the United States. I am focusing on my undergraduate studies in International Strategy and Development. I have been selected for a non-paid internship focused on community sanitation and public health in rural Malawi, a country in southern Africa facing significant water access and hygiene challenges.
This internship represents a unique opportunity to improve the lives of Malawians directly, and will also provide me with the academic, professional, and humanitarian skills needed to continue working on Development Projects throughout my career.
The funds I raised through this campaign will support my accommodation, travel, and living expenses, during the 2-month internship in Spring of 2025. Moreover, they will enable me to fully immerse in this life-changing experience and contribute to the communities my fellows and I will be serving. This internship aligns perfectly with my desire to use the knowledge from college to make a tangible difference in people's lives.
I'm committed to making the most of this opportunity and bringing back valuable experiences and skills that will shape my future career in international development. Your contribution, no matter the size, will play a vital role in this journey for the people in Malawi who will benefit from this internship and for my personal and professional growth. Thank you so much for your willingness to support this initiative.
