Help Mariana Recover from Gastritis and reclaim my Life

Please help Mariana heal from chronic Gastritis.

In September 2024, my life changed. Severe stomach pain made eating, sleeping, and working my regular job nearly impossible. Painful daily flare-ups left me sick for many months, falling behind on bills and struggling to stay afloat. Despite the pain, I kept working as much as my body allowed.

For six months, I begged doctors for answers and on January 8, 2025, an upper GI endoscopy revealed that I have chronic gastritis and acid reflux. By then, my throat, stomach and esophagus were very injured and inflammed. Eating felt like knives cutting through me, some weeks, I could barely eat five small meals, leading to severe weight loss and weakness. Painful flare-ups continue to affect me daily and I have to be very careful and selective with what I choose to eat.

Yet, I refuse to give up. I’m still working toward my dream of becoming an EMT and am set to take my final exam on May 9, 2025. I’m receiving treatment, rebuilding my strength, and holding onto hope.
