Hi my name is Mariana, on August 18th my mom’s and I apartment caught on fire from a fire that started on our stove gas top while my mom was cooking. In the process of the fire, the fire fighters were able to get everyone out and no one was hurt. Unfortunately my mom and I lost 80% of our stuff including our clothes, furniture, we were only able to get our documents and some of our albums, and a couple pairs of clothing. Her and I would are looking to relocate because our building as of right now is not livable and we can not return. We would really love any help we can get, we’re looking to get two months rent for a new apartment deposit and the rest will go to our appliances that we will need in the process.
