Hi, my name is Shari and I am Marian’s daughter. My mom has had stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since 2015 and was stable on a chemo pill for about 9 years. My mom had been feeling nauseated for the past 2 months and during a recent appointment with her oncologist, they noticed she had abdominal bloating, which they sent her to the ER for. They found out her old chemo pill was not working anymore and we recently had to switch to a new pill about a month ago.

Her oncologist put her on a new regimen of pills until results of her genomic testing come in and they can figure out the proper course of treatment. This new pill has been making her very weak and sick, which is part of the side effects.

This past Friday we had to go to the ER again because she had an infection. Because she is immunocompromised, it had complicated her body fighting the infection, which sent her to the ICU so they could keep a better eye on

her. By prayer and God’s covering, she was out of the ICU in just a few hours and is hopefully going to be out of the hospital soon.

Since my mom will probably need 24 hour care and I am her primary caregiver, it would help a lot if you could partner with us in this way so I can care for my mom around the clock till she is better. Anything contributed will go towards medical expenses, medical supplies, and daily necessities that she needs. If you aren’t able to partner in this way, it would mean so much if you could keep her in prayer.

God has been present every step of the way in this journey…He provided the chemo pills that came out right before she was diagnosed in 2015 and He helped the docs and nurses quickly get my mom out of the ICU. I believe He will fully heal my mom and we will continue to lean on Him in this time.
