Help Marian Blake Overcome Medical Crisis
Donation protected

Dear Friends and Family,
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a plea for support on behalf of my little sister, Marian Blake, her husband Chase Blake, and their sweet baby boy Jameson.
Last week, Marian faced a life-threatening medical emergency when a blood clot and infection formed in the right atrium of her heart, and another pulmonary embolism in her lung. Marian’s husband Chase, realized something was wrong the night of the 26th when Marian started to lose consciousness. Chase immediately called 911, and she was taken to a hospital in Lexington, then shortly transferred to Atrium Wake Forest Baptist ICU due to her health declining at an extremely rapid pace, and this Cardiovascular ICU being the most equipped hospital in the area to care for her. Marian was placed on life support shortly after.
For the past several days, doctors have been running test after test to try to determine the cause of the clots and infection in her heart and blood. Doctors tried to take Marian off of life support on the 27th, and her heart stopped and she had to be resuscitated. Shortly thereafter, she had a run in with her kidneys and liver functioning at higher levels than they should have been, but these levels are dropping and returning to normal after intervention. Marian was taken off of life support today (Tuesday, July 30th) but is extremely groggy as she is coming out of a medically induced coma.
The past few weeks have been incredibly challenging for Marian and her family. She underwent extreme and painful emergency treatments and is now in the process of recovering, but the road ahead is long. She is facing substantial medical bills that are beyond our means and also needs support with daily living expenses during her recovery. Marian’s husband Chase has been the sole beneficiary for their family while Marian stays at home with Jameson, and has had to miss, and will continue to have to miss weeks of work.
Marian has always been a vibrant, caring and outstanding mother who brings joy to everyone around her. Now, her and her family needs our help to get through this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go directly towards her medical expenses, including ongoing treatments and medications, as well as essential daily living costs while her husband is unable to work.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support. Your generosity will not only aid in her recovery but also provide her and her family with the comfort and peace of mind that their bills will be paid and they can take care of their child financially during this challenging time.
With gratitude,
