Help Mariam and Naeem Harry beat cancer

I am helping to fundraise for our friends Naeem Harry and Mariam, an inspirational couple who have given so much to the community but who are now both facing cancer diagnoses at the same time. Mariam is dealing with a cancer recurrence for which she has undergone surgery and is now on chemotherapy. On top of this, Harry has now been diagnosed with cancer in his jawbone and lymph nodes, and he will need a complicated surgery followed by six months of chemo and radiation.

As Christians from Pakistan, Harry and Mariam arrived in the US in 2006. Mariam has been working as director of religious education at a Catholic church in central NJ, and Harry works as a chaplain to patients in hospice. Because of their cancer diagnoses, the medical bills are starting to pile up. Also, the next six months of treatment are going to be very challenging for them which is going to make it difficult for them to meet their living expenses.

It is my hope that over the next six months they will be able to focus on their treatment and recovery without needing to worry about not being able to afford their medical or living expenses.
