Help Mariah with Funeral and Travel Costs
Donation protected
If you know me, Meagan, then it’s likely you know Mariah.
Last night, Mariah got the worst phone call any child could get; her dad, John Duncan, had passed.
Now, as she’s navigating this loss, she has to worry about missing work to come down from Virginia Beach, VA, to make arrangements for her dad.
She has been living and working at Twisted Sister cupcakes in Virginia Beach, VA for 4 years. And while she is the hardest working, most responsible 22-year-old I know, few 22-year-olds account in her savings on cremation costs, medical costs and all the bits that go with those.
I met Mariah at Applebee’s in 2001 when I worked there as a hostess and John as a manager. She was a one-year-old. If you know our story, then you know. If you don’t, she’s a little girl I raised, sometimes with John, for the first decade of her life. She’s just as much one of my kids as my stepdaughter and my own DNA.
My husband and I can only do so much, and I would love help ensuring Mariah doesn’t have to worry about money and going into debt while she navigates this life-altering time in her life. Anything will help. And I thank you with all of my heart for reading this and if you decide to donate ♥️
