Help Mariah Stay at Howard University

Hi, my name is Mariah Hurt, and I’m a junior Health Science major at Howard University with dreams of becoming a pre-operative nurse. Howard has become my home away from home, and I’m working hard to continue my education, but I need your help.

Right now, I’m facing financial challenges that could prevent me from registering for classes for my senior. Without financial support, I risk falling behind on my studies and losing the place I call home. I have already had to take one semester off because of issues paying my balance one more semester of being unregistered and I will officially be unenrolled as a Howard university students after 3 years of attending.

Beyond my academics, I’m deeply committed to giving back to my community. I serve as the co-chair of a nonprofit organization and actively volunteer here in Washington, D.C. Helping others has always been my passion, and I want to continue making an impact while working toward my future in healthcare.

With your support, I can pay off my Fall 2024 bill, and become enrolled for my senior year of classes , and continue striving toward my dream of becoming a nurse. Any donation, no matter how small, will help me stay on track to graduate and serve others in the medical field.
